Place

While our research, including our artworks, may travel far and wide, we predominantly conduct our research on Noongar boodja. We pay our respects to the custodians past and present who take care of this land, waterways and sky, and celebrate the culture of knowledge sharing and performance that continues since time began, and that we all benefit from.

We are committed to undertaking research that is locally generated, with our people and our partners, with global reach. By engaging with the Boorloo/Perth arts sector, and community, while simultaneously partnering nationally and internationally, we can invest in local research for global dissemination and impact.

Our research takes place in our dance studios, in our sound studios, our music auditorium and in our theatres, it takes place on our streets and in our classrooms, and in the WAAPA performance capture studio.
