As part of the Piano Panoply program, this concert performed by Dr Tonya Lemoh invites the audience to rediscover Australian musical history with charming songs and poetic solo works from an authentic 1850s piano book.
Piano Panoply, from 3-5 October, is a three-day celebration of the piano, featuring concerts, a public exhibition, a free public lecture and a research symposium.
Led by Music Directors Dr Tonya Lemoh (Head of Classical Piano) and Stewart Smith (Director of the Centre for Keyboard Heritage and Performance Research), Piano Panoply showcases the richness of WAAPA's keyboard collection with performances by piano staff, guests and students.
