From the Drawing Room to the Pleasure Gardens

As part of the Piano Panoply program, this concert takes you into the world of Jane Austin with music from English early Romantic drawing rooms and pleasure gardens, performed on WAAPA's period instruments.

Piano Panoply, from 3-5 October, is a three-day celebration of the piano, featuring concerts, a public exhibition, a free public lecture and a research symposium.

Led by Music Directors Dr Tonya Lemoh (Head of Classical Piano) and Stewart Smith (Director of the Centre for Keyboard Heritage and Performance Research), Piano Panoply showcases the richness of WAAPA's keyboard collection with performances by piano staff, guests and students.
