Performed by: 2nd and 3rd Year Dance students with the WAAPA Symphony Orchestra, Defying Gravity Percussion Ensemble and students from WAAPA Classical, Jazz and Contemporary Music streams

Verge 2024 moves to the Heath Ledger Theatre at the State Theatre Centre of WA to present WAAPA Dance's first full collaboration with students from WAAPA Music. Kick off the evening with a dynamic contemporary dance work, In the Closet, choreographed by Natalie Allen and featuring live music from Defying Gravity Percussion Ensemble, Jazz and Contemporary Music students. Then immerse yourself in iconic scenes from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker performed by the Classical Ballet students, restaged by Kim McCarthy and accompanied by the WAAPA Symphony Orchestra under the baton of acclaimed conductor Jessica Gethin.
