The History Project

Performed by: Link Dance Company (BPA Honours) with 3rd Year Composition and Music Technology students

Come on a journey through the hidden layers of the archive, where some memories shine and others fade. In this unique, immersive dance work by Michael Whaites and Patricia Wood (NSW), featuring original music by WAAPA student composers, history is not static but alive and changing in the bodies that encounter it. Using ritual, choreography, improvisation and text, LINK Dance Company embraces, adapts and collides with shifting social realities and the spectres of the past, in the students' final performance of the year.

Please note: This is a promenade performance that is not accessible. Patrons will be standing and walking, so please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.
