This hilarious, exuberant jukebox musical is an Elizabethan-era romp set to the songs of the iconic all-female rock band The Go-Go’s. Sir Philip Sidney’s 16th century prose poem The Arcadia is infused with giddy new life through hit songs such as We Got the Beat, Our Lips Are Sealed, Vacation, and Belinda Carlisle’s signature '80s anthem, Heaven is a Place on Earth. A royal family embarks on an outrageous journey to save their beloved kingdom from extinction – only to discover the key to the realm’s survival lies within each of their own hearts.
Reed Luplau's visit to WAAPA is proudly supported by Jamelia Gubgub and David Wallace.
