Get ready for an unforgettable experience at WAAPA's "Access All Areas" Open Day on Sunday 4 May at ECU’s Mount Lawley campus from 10am-3pm.

This is your opportunity to experience the world-class training offered by one of Australia's top performing arts institutions. Whether you're interested in Acting, Dance, Music, Music Theatre, Performing Arts, Production and Design, Arts & Cultural Management, or one of WAAPA's many other programs, this event is the perfect opportunity to explore it all.

Meet current students and staff, visit live rehearsals, and sit in on classes across a variety of disciplines. Watch exclusive performances, including jazz and contemporary music ensembles, and see how WAAPA’s industry-simulated training brings creativity to life. Get a behind-the-scenes look at upcoming productions and observe real-life performing arts training in action!

ECU’s Mount Lawley campus has been WAAPA’s home for the past 45 years, producing many of Australia’s finest performers, musicians and theatre practitioners. 2026 marks the start of a new exciting chapter for WAAPA, as the school moves to its new home as part of the ECU City campus. With brand-new performance venues and state-of-the-art facilities, this extraordinary new campus in the heart of Perth will place WAAPA firmly at the forefront of performing arts training both nationally and internationally.

Students accepted into our 2026 courses will attend WAAPA’s new home at the ECU City campus – so this year’s Open Day offers a glimpse of what awaits you at the ECU City campus through several displays and an ECU City information hub.

From 2026 onwards, the transformative ECU City campus will elevate your global experience, expand your talent and prepare you for a successful career in the arts. Join us and discover how WAAPA’s conservatoire training will help you master your craft.
