From 6 - 10 May, two WAAPA students were given the opportunity to travel to Brussels to participate in workshops and activities of learning, teaching and training (LTTA) as part of the Erasmus+ project, Interdisciplinary Dialogue.
Andrea Fernandez, a 1st Year Bachelor of Arts (Acting) student, and Sarabi Gristwood Sponza, a Diploma of Live Production and Technical Services student, were accompanied by Dr Frances Barbe, Associate Dean of Performance, and Rick Brayford, Course Coordinator for Aboriginal Performance. Both Andrea and Sarabi are 2023 graduates of WAAPA’s Aboriginal Performance course.
“It was a wonderful week of interdisciplinary dialogue where our Aboriginal Performance graduates got to work with other students and practitioners from all over Europe,” said Rick Brayford. “We feel honoured to be included in this international project where cutting edge ideas and processes were shared and explored.”
