WAAPA’s Performing Arts degrees produces graduates who have the technical and creative skills to execute ideas to a high professional standard, the bold vision required to build the future of the performing arts industry and the high-level communication, collaboration and leadership skills required to succeed in a dynamic, creative industry.
A three-year undergraduate degree for aspiring artists interested in exploring every facet of performance. Students undertake text-based, self-devised and collaborative projects to gain a practical understanding of how to research, create, produce and perform contemporary arts practice.
This fourth year of study is for students who have successfully completed an undergraduate Bachelor degree in Performance Making or Dance. This Honours year is used by students to focus in depth on a particular research topic of their choice. In addition, Dance Honours students become members of LINK Dance Company, the only graduate dance company of its kind in Australia, which provides the simulated experience of being in a dance company for a year.
