Ready to take your passion for acting to the next level? Picture this: three years of immersive learning, where every day is a journey toward excellence. The Bachelor of Arts (Acting) is your ticket to unlocking your full potential and making waves in the arts and entertainment industry worldwide.

Imagine a curriculum designed to stretch your mind and fuel your creativity, led by a team of dedicated professionals who live and breathe the art of storytelling. At WAAPA, we celebrate diversity and embrace your unique perspective, ensuring that every student’s voice is heard and valued. But our program isn’t just about theory. It’s about hands-on experience and real-world preparation. From industry-standard training to opportunities to collaborate with visiting artists, every moment is a chance to grow and shine.

As a WAAPA Acting graduate, you’ll join our internationally acclaimed alumni working in theatre, film, television and radio as actors, directors, writers, producers and much more.

WAAPA also offers two one-year full-time acting courses delivered under the Vocational Education and Training (VET) framework:

  • 10995NAT - Diploma of Acting
  • 11155NAT - Advanced Diploma of Performance (Acting)

These courses put you centre stage as you gain a foundational understanding of the craft of acting. Understanding voice, movement and script analysis are just some of the skills you will learn. Graduates from these VET courses may seek ongoing study in Bachelor-level courses or move directly into the performing arts industry.
