Venues & studios

The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts has an impressive range of production, rehearsal, teaching and performance facilities and services available to support students and academics in their pursuit of excellence.

On stage

We currently house eight public performance spaces which are constantly in use for performances and concerts. These include:

  • Geoff Gibbs Theatre (Building 1, Room1.150) - a 270-seat proscenium arch theatre;
  • Roundhouse Theatre (Building 1, Room 1.2110)  - a 130-seat court style theatre;
  • Richard Gill Auditorium (Building 1, Room 1.110) - 178 seats;
  • outdoor Amphitheatre (between Buildings 1 & 3);
  • Enright Studio (Building 1, Room 1.241);
  • Dance Studios;
  • Jazz Studio (Building 1, Room 1.236);
  • The Music Box; and
  • The Edith Spiegeltent.
